Between Work Satisfaction, High Salary & Security…

I had a small talk with a friend this morning regarding the above topic. Which is the 1st thing that we normally choose?

Well in my case, I prefer to put it in this order:

1) Work Satisfaction

2) Security

3) High Salary

Here’s my argument:After working for 5 years, I’ve found out that satisfaction of work is a must in my life. I don’t know about others but to me without work satisfaction I won’t be motivated to do more, no spirit, no energy and etc. That is why if you look at Google’s office (in US) their office is like their home, same goes to Microsoft, by turning their office as what the employees wishes, the can provide a better services, provide a better ideas which in the end Google and Microsoft become very successful. They give freedom to their employees. One of my friends works with Shell in I.T department, they even got a bedroom for those who are sleepy, and they can rest. That is why to me satisfaction is the top priority.

I know some people prefer salary, money is the key to motivate for you to work, people needs to work to earn money, to survive. I know salary is very important, I mean who doesn’t want a higher salary, but again as I said, sacrifice your life for money is not a healthy choice, you can’t socialize. You seldom see your families and friends. To me we must be balance, in term of work and private life. There are a lot more to explore besides working. But I’ve seen a lot of people would choose this kind of life, especially career women (My ex and current boss..hahaha).

When talk about security I can think nothing but working in the government sector. My parent wants me to work in the government to get a security. At the old days you will get a pension. But to me, working in the government won’t get you anywhere, I mean you won’t evolve, hard to expand. But a lot of people always prefer to choose security, because they don’t have worry about their future or they don’t want to become a better person. But hey, who cares anyway its your life and you can decide on your own which suit you better.

Decision that we’ve made…

Its has been long since I jot something in ma’ blog..guess I’ve been busy lately, work is the main factor why I don’t have enough time to write, but hey, who cares anyway.I think I might have made mistake when I left my old company to a new one, but this doesn’t man that I regret making the choice I’ve made, it just a small thought that what if I didn’t make this move, what if I stayed at my old company. I’ve miss the old days, it was really fun back then, all of my officemate was so energetic, so competitive, so close to each other. Maybe because at that time we are all new staff and was so eager to learn new staff…but even so, for 4 years being with them I was still so energetic. Although the was a lot of problem but we still managed to survive (to find interest in our job scope) hahah…those were the days.

Nowadays it’s so much different, the environment itself is different. Working in the banking industries gave me the meaning of how boring the job was…in my previous company I always have the spirit to finish the entire given task, but in my current company I finally understand of boring job. But I guess this is part of life, people will eventually go through this phase…sigh!!

My unit supposedly to have 5 crew member, but now only two left me and my girl colleague, and not only that new and new task keep coming, I like to used the term uninvited task..damn the new task, I cursed to those who gave me new task, up yours!!

Not only that, all of these new task are all ad-hoc, all need to be settle, all are urgent, urgent my ass.

My only choice is to jot what I feel, maybe it will ease my tension a bit. In the meanwhile maybe should try to find a new job, its not that I want to quit due to the fact that my current job is boring, but I want something new, in Islam we called it Hijrah which means to migrate or to go to a new place. Their GOD, I pray to you so that I can get a new job…Amin..   

Kurosaki Ichigo

I’ve decided to write about one of my favourite anime character as my 1st blog, just to try it out I guess. Dunno y I want to start blogging…I just feel like to jot something. Maybe this will benefit me in the future..hohoho.Ok..back to my 1st blog.

Kurosaki Ichigo is the main character of the manga and anime series Bleach. The series begins with Ichigo receiving shinigami(Death God) powers as a result of a run-in with Kuchiki Rukia, one of the many shinigami who inhabit Soul Society(also called the spirit world in a Bleach-related context. It is meant to correspond to heaven in human belief systems). These powers come at the cost of Rukia’s own, and as a result, Ichigo is forced to work as Rukia’s stand-in, fighting to protect people from hollows and sending Pluses(A plus is the spirit of a person who has died) to the Soul Society.

I guess any animaniac will love/like this character. Here take a look  at the pics.

Now the second pic is where Ichigo in a Shinigami form with his zanpakutō(Shinigami weapon – soul-cutting sword) at shikai state.

Beyond their standard sealed state, zanpakutō can manifest themselves in two additional forms, the use of which is dependent upon the shinigami’s ability to communicate with and control the zanpakutō’s spirit. These two forms, known as the initial release (shikai) and the final release (bankai), are akin to “upgrades” for the zanpakutō, giving it abilities far beyond that of its simple use as a sword. Shinigami usually carry their zanpakutō in the sealed state and activate the released forms as necessary; however, certain shinigami, namely Ichigo and Zaraki Kenpachi, are unable to seal their zanpakutō and therefore carry them in released form constantly.

Every Shinigami’s zanpakutō has their own name for example Ichigo’s zanpakutō  is known as Zangetsu (Moon Cutter). The spirit takes the form of a middle-aged man wearing tinted glasses and a black coat. see above pic on the right.

Shikai release: Zangetsu takes the form of a large and elegant cleaver as tall as Ichigo is. It has no command phrase as it is always active.

Bankai release: Named Tensa Zangetsu (Heavenly Chain Moon Cutter), Zangetsu takes the form of a nodachi (a large two-handed Japanese sword) with a black blade and a manji crossguard. When Ichigo uses Zangetsu’s final release, he is wearing a coat identical to the spirit’s. In this form, Ichigo’s strength and speed are greatly increased, the latter exceeding the velocity of flash steps.

Vaizard alternatively known as “masked soldiers,” are a group of rogue shinigami in the anime and manga series Bleach who have illegally acquired hollow powers. When Ichigo was training with Urahara, Urahara severed Ichigo’s soul chain in order to force him to regain his lost shinigami powers, lest he become a hollow instead. Ichigo was able to recover his shinigami powers when his body began the process of turning into a hollow. Ichigo’s transformation happened out of sequence, his mask forming first instead of his body breaking apart and reforming, a sign of his resistance. When he emerged as a shinigami, he was also wearing a hollow’s mask, which he broke off everytime the hollow mask appear. Shinji tries to convince Ichigo to join their group, saying that only he can teach Ichigo how to control his ‘hollow within’ and keep it from taking over and destroying everything Ichigo cares about. Ichigo initially refuses Shinji’s offer, but relents after realizing he can’t control his inner hollow on his own. However, Ichigo insists that he’s merely using them to learn how to control his inner hollow.
